Jessin Joy short film ‘The Turn Ahead’ screened.

Cine Aajkal R. Rao :- Debutant Director, writer & producer Jessin Joy had a private screening of his 1st short film – "The Turn Ahead", in a packed house premiere held at Red bulb studio in Mumbai.



The film is an investigative thriller that follows a hit & run case and stars Aakanksha Singh, Saurabh Goyal, Jayant Gadekar, Aakash Ahuja & Mohit Duseja in key roles. Debutant Director Jessin Joy has done a commendable job donning multiple hats on his first film itself. The film is very slick in its visual & editing style, with great background score making the film gripping from the word go. The film keeps you on the edge of the seat and has a very unpredictable storyline.


Actor Aakanksha Singh plays an interesting & never seen before role in the film said that she enjoyed working on the film & how the film in such a short span is so effective & impactful. Aakansha will be soon seen in Runway 34 with Amitabh Bachchan & Ajay Devgn.


Actor Saurabh Goyal plays the lead investigator in the film and was recently seen in the film Chorri. Actor Jayant Gadekar who plays the sub inspector, speaking about Jessin said that in spite of being new was such a calm & composed director who was totally in control of the film and turned it into a splendid one.



Actors Nandish Sandhu, Abhishek Bajaj, Ankita Shorey, Kapil Arya & Gurpreet Bedi also attended the event and appreciated the team on the great performances and film that was put together.

Written, produced & directed by Jessin Joy, who is an engineer turned brand manager turned into a writer, producer & director in his quest to be a filmmaker. He was appreciated by all for making such a splendid film in his debut. He thanked everyone for the support and love shared towards the film. And this is a dream coming true for him as he pursues his passion.

The film is co-produced by Sujoy Joy & Selin Sujoy of Crisp Trips Films, cinematography by Ankush Birajdar, Edited by Shyam Salgaonkar and Music by Rupert Fernandes.

The film was attended by the cast, crew, other actors, friends and family of the team and will be doing its round of Film festivals next.
