Cine Aajkal Review by R.Rao :- Ayushmann as a bodybuilder is excellent and has worked his physique very well for this movie. He is the owner along with his other partners of a Gym in Chandigarh. He does his Exercise daily at the Gym as he wants to win the coveted annual Championship of Chandigarh. Vanni Kapoor takes a rented place in the Gym to teach young girls and women the Zumba Exercise. It is a bold story film based on the Transgender people and Director Abhishek Kapoor handles this sensitive subject very well. Very few films are made on this subject. Ayushmann khurrana and Vanni Kapoor are excellent in their respective romantic roles of lovers.Thera are lot of bedroom scenes and kissings between the two.
Vaani Kapoor is a transgender girl.How the families of transgender people live and face the society is shown very well.The scientific display of operation is shown beautifully. Some Dialogues are very bold which will not liked by some audiences.comedy Dialogues are funny the film is mostly in Punjabi language so it is difficult to understand at some sequences. Music by Sachin Jigar is very peppy with Punjabi beats. So dances are like that.Masses may not like it.But opening day business was good.By mouth publicity the film will do good business.
